Bulk fix applies one action to many names at once, a few posts at a time.
What You’ll Learn
- Selecting names
- Previewing and running
- Interrupted runs
- Undoing a bulk fix
Selecting Names
Open Findings and choose Shortcodes or Blocks, because a bulk fix does one kind at a time. Tick the names you want, or tick the box in the header and choose Select all to take every name of the current search, on every page.
Previewing and Running
Choose what should happen to them, then Preview the Changes to see the first posts. Fix the Selected works once you have seen the changes. The posts are fixed a few at a time with a progress bar, and a post that has several of the selected names is changed once.
Interrupted Runs
If you close the page, or the server stops, the run is kept. The Findings page shows how far it got, with Continue and Cancel. What was fixed stays fixed.
Undoing a Bulk Fix
The whole run is one fix on the Backups tab, so Restore all brings back every post it changed.
This is available in Broken Shortcode Fixer Pro.
