Some shortcodes are registered only on the front end. They look dead to a scan but work for visitors.
What You’ll Learn
- Ignoring from the Findings page
- The ignore list under Options
- Removing from the list
Ignoring From the Findings Page
Choose Ignore It on a finding, or tick several names and choose Ignore the Selected. The name is hidden and never reported or changed, even after a new scan.
The Ignore List Under Options
Under Options, the Ignore List is one name per line. A plain name is a shortcode, written without the brackets. Start a line with block: for a block, with its full name, for example block:acme/slider. Lines that start with # are skipped, and a line that is not understood is skipped with a message when you save.
Removing From the List
Delete the line under Options and save, or choose Stop Ignoring on Findings > Ignored. The name is reported again after the next scan.
This is available in Broken Shortcode Fixer Pro.
