Installation
- Upload the plugin ZIP via Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, then activate it
- Go to Gallery Slider > License and activate your license key
- Review your post types and lightbox mode under Settings, then explore the Appearance, Behavior, Content, and Performance & Analytics tabs
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I keep my settings if I upgrade from the free version?
Yes – Pro uses the same settings and the same block options as the free version, so galleries and settings you already have keep working. Use one or the other – activating Pro deactivates the free version.
Will Pro slow down my site?
No – the scripts and styles for each feature load only on pages that use it, and sliders built from your content can be cached. The video, lightbox, design, and analytics files load only when they are needed.
Do video slides load YouTube or Vimeo before a visitor clicks?
No – the poster is an ordinary image from your Media Library, and nothing is loaded from YouTube or Vimeo until the visitor clicks play. YouTube can also load from its privacy-enhanced domain.
Does the analytics track my visitors?
No – only counts are stored: a number per day, slider, kind of event, and image. There are no cookies, no IP addresses, and nothing that identifies a visitor. Logged-in editors and visitors who send Do Not Track are not counted by default, and old counts are deleted automatically.
Does it work with Elementor and the Classic Editor?
Yes – saved sliders can be placed with the Gallery Slider widget in Elementor, the Slider block in the Block Editor, or a shortcode in the Classic Editor, and Classic Editor [ gallery ] shortcodes become sliders too.
What happens to my data if I delete the plugin?
You choose. Under Settings, keep your data (the default) so a reinstall finds everything as it was, or remove all of it – settings, saved sliders, video links, and analytics counts – when the plugin is deleted.
Can I use one license on multiple sites?
Yes – choose the multiple-sites or unlimited-sites license to cover more than one site under a single subscription.
